The VSRA office is closed today in observance of Labor Day.
The OSHA-10 hour course awards the 10-hour certification card and meets all of the mandated regulations for the Maritime Industry (OSHA Code of Federal Regulations 29 CFR 1915) course in a format that specifically addresses the challenges and environmental conditions specific to the shipyards. In addition, ship yard specific regulations and issues are covered in depth. Instructors are authorized by OSHA endorsed certification programs. Cards are issued through the Instructor's certifying body. All book, material and certification costs are covered in the course fee.
VSRA Board of Directors meetings are held on the odd numbered months. The General Membership Luncheon meetings are held every month.
VSRA hosts one of the country's most highly regarded maritime-related Safety & Health seminars each year for the benefit of its members and employees. This event is sponsored by the Safety Committee. This is a dynamic day of presentations, activities and networking for employees who ensure their personal safety and those around them.
